With a year-round moderate climate and

Department

organized sports for all ages and more than 200 acres of parks and walking
trails. If that isn't enough to satisfy one's outdoors appetite, the 33-mile
Chief Ladiga Trail, a multi-jurisdictional rails-to-trails conversion, runs
right through Jacksonville; and the city is only minutes away from the Robert
Trent Jones Golf Trail, Dugger and Cheaha Mountain National Wilderness Areas,
the Talladega National Forest and the Coosa River Basin. There is also a
