Basketball Registrations will begin October 30th and continue through

3. Cost: $35 per child and $30 each additional child in the same family (this includes a
team jersey and team trophy; 1st , 2nd and sportsmanship).

14 & under (interlocking schedule games may be on Saturdays)
5. Practice starts: Week of November 24th. Practice time and days are up to the
Volunteer Coach. Days and times of practice and games are not to exceed 4 hours.
Typical practices are one hour to and hour and half.
6. Season starts: Games December 4th.
7. Season ends: typically by 3rd week in February
8. Equipment used: ages 8 & under/10 & under use 28.5 basketball (girls ball). 12 &
under &/14 & Under use regulation basketball.
9. Equipment to purchase: the team will decide on a team color for the shorts. Shorts are
not provided. ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR SHOES WITH NON MARKING
OUTSOLES.
10. Player selection: All kids are put in a draft system in order to make teams as equal
and fair as possible. The only children guaranteed to be on a certain team are the
coaches children.
11. Coaches meeting: Is projected for November 13th.
12. Draft: Is projected for November 18th. ONLY HEAD COACH ALLOWED!
